Artist Style:
For this mini lesson, I worked with two girls names Morgan and Kirsten. They both helped me come up with an idea for my painting. Kirsten did the majority of the presentation, but both Morgan and I have ideas and helped present it. The movement we were inspired by was surrealism. Surrealism was a movement that occurred in the 20th century and it's sought to release the creative potential of the unconscious mind. My piece was inspired by this. Realistically, a ship cannot come out of a mailbox because of the huge size difference. In surrealism, my piece may not make sense, but it shows my creativity so therefore it is fine.
Destruction:
I lit one of my illustration Friday's on fire. I was a wave. It's quite ironic, lighting something to do with water on fire. Usually water has the upper hand by putting out fires, but not in this case.
(I wrote a documentation of what I was going to do a while back instead of sketching it.)
