Origami Collaborative - This mini lesson was fairly entertaining. All I had to do was fold small pieces of paper into little fortune tellers. What I learned from this is that you actually do have to fold it correctly or it comes out funky. I think that if I tried anything harder than a fortune teller that it would be quite difficult. I would say this piece is successful. Most of my fortune tellers are neat and precise and I made a good amount too. If I were to do it again I would figure out how to make it completely straight. On some of them, they wouldn't fold neatly all the way so the end fortune teller looked kind of weird.
The Exquisite Corpse - This mini lesson was alright. I didn't enjoy it too much. Mine didn't match up because people forgot to draw the connecting lines on the fold underneath it, so it came out weird. What I learned from this is probably that you should draw the connecting lines or else it will look messy and like a child drew it. I don't really find this piece successful at all. The alien type thing doesn't match up with the shirt, the feet don't match up with the shirt, it's all a mess. If I re-did this, I would definitely tell the people participating to DRAW CONNECTING LINES so us others can figure out where everything goes.
(We did a stop-motion for our main project so that's why there is only 2 mini lessons.)
